The human body is an astonishing machine. One has to look no further than this year's Olympic games in London to see that. But although not all of us can be Olympians, all of our body parts are meant to work in unison every single day, and most of us don't give the functioning a second thought. With the exception of an occasional misfiring neuron, I am thinking about what I am writing, wiggling my feet, shifting weight in the chair, and typing with my hands. This a photographic ode to the humble hand.
I am grateful for everything that my body and hands enable me to do.

These are luminous and lovely. Great light and midtones.
